Day 65, Rousset, France

A small fountain.
Fountains everywhere
I visited the nearby city of Aix-en-Provence today. What a lovely town, leafy avenues, pedestrian only areas, promenades and lots of history and fountains!
Lots of visitors too, but it created a nice bustle. The inner city is tightly packed, lots of nice shops right next to museums housed in old mansions, next to monasteries from the 1600's.
So you have people just wanting shops with people reading guide books and reading aloud the important historical details of each site. I love watching groups of people, some of them really not wanting all the details of who lived there when, and only wanting to shop! Great traveling on your own, you get to decide exactly where to go!
The town also boasted a lot of markets, a fish market, flower market, fruit & vegetables...just great.

A nice wee walk along the river back at my accommodation and a swim after.
Flowers everywhere
